Being part of a running club gives you the motivation to stay the course. I was so glad to see that the Central Park Track Club was included in a list of the country’s best running clubs. Kudos!

The Central Park Track Club was founded in 1972. You may know them from their maple leaf logo. The team caters to road and track runners, cross-country athletes and sprinters—and trainings take place around NYC. Every Thurs night at 7pm, the crew meets in front of the Daniel Webster statue in Central Park for tempo runs. A great way to get a free, and fast, tour of the park.
